Meet Link, my kith with the ID #404! I was thrilled to pick him up shortly after the Scalyx came out, and when I told my friend, she immediately suggested I name him Link. And I'm a huge sucker for puns, so obviously I went for it. She and I are fond of Legend of Zelda games, so I picked the color green and decided to run with a rpg/fantasy game theme to the items I was going to give him!
Items were given to him in sets of 3 with an underlying theme or concept tying the three items together, so I'll highlight a few of the sets here, but feel free to browse his Diet, Knowledge, and Toybox to see what trios look appealing. Feel free to ask about any, too.
He's also my cooker, and his Power/Guard/Speed were entirely raised through cooking food (and a large bulk of those points were from when stat gains were tied to your level instead of just being 1 or 2). No games or quests for him, except a few mistakes in my kith swapping here or there. He'll also do some tailoring when that gets released - really it's just crafting in general that I want to tie to his theme.
I maxed him out recently so I could adopt another in his stead, but I'm leaving him on his second stage for the duration of the contest because Young Link is best Link.
Diet HightlightsWith the exception of non-cooked foods (which there are very few of in his diet), these were all cooked by Link himself. <3
Knowledge HighlightsI focused on stories and some skills that are useful for fantasy rpg type games.
Toybox HighlightsThese are what've kept him Brave so far! I definitely want to keep the Brave personality, though it isn't locked in yet.
Tl;drKith #404 is Link, who can usually be found adventuring through dungeons or cooking food in the comfort of his enchanted kitchen.
I'm fine with TW social media reposting this entry.
Also, I'd like to add a shoutout to
[@Garden]'s
Enchanged Forest Visual Spreadsheet guide for helping me pick out which items I thought would fit Link's theme and sets. :D

The Boonanas, Vengeful Boonanas, and Eye Scream Sundae combo look just like some monsters you'd defeat in a game, and defeat them he did.
Trail Rations, Way Bread, and Breadcrumb Trail are super portable and substantial food to bring on an epic journey, plus the breadcrumbs to be sure he doesn't get lost.
Cremini Mushrooms, Portobello Mushrooms, and Shiitake Mushrooms because mushrooms are a perfect crop to be tending in the woods.
Knowledge Highlights
I focused on stories and some skills that are useful for fantasy rpg type games.
Scary Potter, Feral Magic, and Chronicles of the Enchanted Forest started Link off with tales of magic and nature, which were core to his theme. Also, their colors are lovely together.
Serious Business, Scientific Observation Journal, and Eureka! are a valuable set for Link to understand Lycus's otherwordly exploration (which is, of course, Serious Business).
Get a Green Thumb, How Does Your Garden Grow, and Housekeeping with Animals are a great set for someone looking to raise plants and animals, which is something I do in absolutely every game that allows it.
Toybox Highlights
These are what've kept him Brave so far! I definitely want to keep the Brave personality, though it isn't locked in yet.

The Jar of Fireflies, Bug Catching Net, and Fairy Lights capture the whimsical firefly aesthetic of the forest. No actual fireflies were harmed in the making of the fairy lights, but they do enjoy gathering around it.

The Everburning Candlestick, the Enchanged Boomerang, and the Coin Hoard tell the story of a dungeon adventure. The candle lights the way, the boomerang helps Link defeat the monsters, and the coins are contained in the chest at the end.
The Wooden Kith Puzzle, Peg Jump Puzzle, and Wooden Block Puzzle are examples of puzzles Link practiced with before encountering his first real puzzles in the dungeons he explored.
The Eyes of Rose, Fairy Doll, and Music Box capture a more heart-touching narrative present in many video games, such as music boxes that were gifts from loved ones and childhood dolls.
